A Day Like This (Lunch Date Remake)

Kevin Blake, a red fox, has noticed that his friend, John Frost, has been depressed in the recent few weeks. So he decides to invite John over for lunch at his house. When there, John meets Kevin's twin sisters - Kate (across from Kevin) and Hazel (across from John). While Kate actually lives elsewhere and is just stopping by, Hazel is staying with Kevin while she is pregnant, helping around the house.

Not really expecting to see anyone else when he arrived, John is extremely shy at first, but the tension eases when he begins to talk with Hazel, and the two seem to get along.

Why did I make this? In my opinion, it was kind of rough, as I had made it at a time when my art still a bit more rough. I also wanted to do a few more things, like add a background, that I was a little afraid to try before... so now you get to see where Kevin lives.

I thought the scene needed more background objects, so I included a few, including a portrait of Kevin (drawn by , AKA ), a quote from Winston Churchill (who exists in this universe, in one way or another), a ten-year-old photograph of Kevin with a graded paper, and a wall-mounted tablet.

If I remake this again I'll probably want to add more stuff. But who knows?
